A short, plain statement of what each party provides, what each is paid, and what happens if something goes wrong. One page, agreed once, so neither party has to rely on memory.
"The Dollar Skill Program", a twelve-week evening course in applied AI skills, delivered in two tracks:
Both tracks run in the academy's evening shift. No morning delivery is contemplated under this agreement.
Twelve students per track, twenty-four in total. The cap is a delivery-quality limit, not a commercial one, and may not be exceeded without the Instructor's written agreement. Enquiries beyond the cap are placed on a waiting list for the next batch at the same fee with a confirmed date.
60% to the Instructor, 40% to the Academy, calculated on gross fees collected — that is, before any deduction for academy overhead, administration or premises.
The Academy collects all fees and deposits and provides the Instructor with the enrolment list, showing names and amounts, on the day of collection.
The Instructor's share is remitted monthly in advance of the month taught, on the ___ day of each month, by bank transfer with a written reference. Where a student pays by instalment, the Instructor's share of that instalment is remitted with the same cycle.
Payment is not deferred to the end of the batch under any circumstances.
Freelance-platform subscriptions and proposal credits for Track A students during the supervised phase are funded by the Academy from its share, to a ceiling of PKR ______ for the batch (budget guidance: PKR 188,000–269,000 at the proposal discipline taught in the course — see the platform costs schedule).
These costs are not billed to families separately. Credits are released weekly against instructor-reviewed proposals and never as a lump sum.
Marketing is executed by the Academy. Paid marketing for the pilot batch is capped at PKR 35,000, funded by the Academy.
All external material — flyers, social posts, WhatsApp messages and advertising copy — must be approved in writing by the Instructor before publication. No representative of the Academy may state or imply a guaranteed income figure. Track B carries no income claim of any kind.
Track A is restricted to students aged eighteen or above, verified by CNIC copy held on file before the first session. No exception may be made by the Academy.
No earning account will be opened in a parent's or guardian's name for a student to operate. Every student earns in their own name on their own identity documents, or does not earn under this programme.
The guarantee: where a Track A student attends at least 90% of sessions and submits every assigned proposal, and completes the twelve weeks without a verified platform profile, a live portfolio, PSEB registration and a working payment account, the fee is refunded in full. Such a refund is borne by both parties in the 60/40 ratio.
No income is guaranteed by either party, in any medium, to any family.
Student withdrawal: full refund within 48 hours of payment. After the first week, the deposit is forfeit and the balance is pro-rated to sessions delivered. Any loss is shared 60/40.
All course materials, curriculum, recordings, templates and methods remain the exclusive property of the Instructor and are licensed to the Academy for the duration of this agreement only. They are not assigned or transferred.
The Academy may not deliver this programme, or a materially similar programme derived from these materials, with any other instructor without the Instructor's written consent.
The Academy provides the large upstairs classroom on all five teaching evenings for the full twelve weeks, together with working internet capable of supporting twelve simultaneous laptops, a projector or large display, and backup power covering both the room and the internet router.
Where a session cannot proceed because of a facilities failure, the Academy provides a replacement evening within the same week.
This sheet governs the pilot batch and the two batches immediately following. It is then reviewed by both parties in good faith, including the revenue share, before any further batch is scheduled.
Either party may decline to run a further batch on thirty days' written notice, provided any batch already begun is completed in full.
A short statement of terms recording what both parties have agreed. It is not a substitute for legal advice and neither party is prevented from taking any. It exists because everything is easy to agree today, when nothing has gone wrong — and it is for the month something does.
